Description

Disc Brake Spreader tool is an essential tool for the removal and installation of new brake pads. Use with a tommy bar, 1/2″ ratchet wrench or spanner to help push that brake calipers piston back squarely with no damage to the piston face. It is suitable for most calipers and can be used to push back the pressure plate while removing or installing new pads. The wide flat surface helps distribute the force over a greater area than a small pry bar reducing damage to the caliper and rotor. Blackened for corrosion resistance.

It helps to push that piston back with even pressure so the pads can be installed or removed without damaging the piston face.

This spreader is made from hardened steel and blackened for corrosion resistance, making it durable enough to withstand all those frozen bolts you’ll inevitably come across. It even has a rubber grip handle for ease of use.
