Description
Spring Compressor Head Valves are used on a wide range of OHV, OHC and CHV engines. They’re not suitable for use on engines with deep seated valves, which means they wouldn’t work with many older engine models. These products are international products, which means that they’re sold from abroad and may differ from local products in your country. They also might have separate terms and conditions, product labeling or instructions that are different from those in your country. For more information about international products, you can contact our customer service team. There are a lot of different kinds of power tools on the market, and a lot of things that people need them to do. One of the most common is a compressor head. The spring-loaded valve opens at a constant rate, allowing air into the cylinder and pushing down on the piston. This acts as both the trigger and the power source for the device.
The valve spring compressor head is what’s used to apply downward force on the valve springs when the valvetrain is disassembled. When using a standard valve spring compressor to remove valves, there are two things to keep in mind: 1) you must use a tool designed for that purpose, never use pliers; 2) if the tool has notches or grooves that fit over guide rods or crankcase bosses, make sure those parts of the tool are clean and free of oil before assembly. If there is dirt or grime in these grooves, it will cause the tool to stick.
